Welcome! The Victoria Falls Scenic Safari 2017 is designed to give you a wonderful experience and golden memories to cherish for a lifetime. The superb overland safari is for 18 days. We will explore and experience life in different locations and cities of the countries visited. These include Arusha, Dodoma, Kande Beach, Lusaka, Livingstone and others.
Safari Information
5:30 am: Meeting at the city market, Nairobi
6:00 am: Departure time (strictly)
For the long drives, we will be having timely stop-overs to stretch/refresh ourselves then proceed.
The most valuable (helpful + co-operative) players during the safari will get prizes – one lady and one gentleman.
Kenyan residents and non residents: USD 1,000
Deposit required: KES 30,000. Balance should be cleared by 8th December 2017.

Safari Essentials
* A valid passport (and photocopy).

2.) Rooms / bandas: at USD 20 – 50 per day. This cost is not included in the package.
We will provide sleeping bags or blankets. However, we advise that you carry yours for your desired convenience.

Safari Itinerary
Day One: 20th December 2017 (Nairobi – Arusha – Mto Wa Mbu (TZ))
We commence with the tour leader’s briefing and then start our Victoria Falls Scenic Safari 2017. Lunch en-route (own arrangement). Stop over at Nakumatt supermarket, Arusha – 30 minutes. Mto wa Mbu is in the Rift Valley, near Lake Manyara.
Day Two: 21st December 2017 (Mto Wa Mbu – Dodoma (Capital City) – Iringa)
We drive through the beautiful countryside to arrive in Dodoma at 11:00 am. 30-minute Dodoma City tour, then we proceed to arrive in Iringa in the evening.
Day Three: 22nd December 2017 (Iringa- Chitimba Beach Camp (Malawi))
We will have an early morning and drive through the beautiful countryside crossing the border by midday. We will arrive at the lovely beach of Chitimba in the evening. Lake Malawi is known for diving and fishing. It’s commonly known as the Lake of Stars.
Day Four: 23rd December 2017 (Chitimba – Kande Beach(Lake Malawi))
8:00 am: From Chitimba to Kande Beach: very scenic countryside. Our drive takes us through panoramic views of the Chitimba hills and the escarpment below. We arrive at the Lovely Kande beach in the afternoon.
Day Five: 24th December 2017 (Kande Beach)
We will spend a full day at the white sandy Kande beach… swimming, games, boat rides etc. Kande Beach, Lake Malawi is one of the best beaches in Africa to relax with the white golden sand and clear blue water. Optional visit to a local village for a cultural experience. Salsa dance – All white themed night.
Day Six: 25th December 2017 (Kande Beach – Chipata (Zambia))
With an early morning, 6:00 am we drive from Kande beach and arrive in Chipata in the afternoon. This is absolutely beautiful countryside. Christmas party!
Day Seven: 26th December (Chipata- Lusaka)
Departure from Chipata at 6:00 am. Arrival in Lusaka in the afternoon. Lusaka in the Southern part is the capital and largest city of Zambia. This is a day to relax and enjoy the cool evening hours at the lovely Eureka Camp. Cultural night.
Day Eight: 27th December 2017 (Lusaka – Livingstone)
Lusaka – Livingstone (home to Victoria Falls). On day eight, we will have an early start from Lusaka. We will arrive in Livingstone evening and unwind. The well-maintained swimming pool invites all for a swim. Livingstone town was established in 1905 and was named after Dr. Livingstone who explored this area extensively. Evening fitness.
Day Nine: 28th December 2017 (Victoria Falls)
Full day for Victoria Falls Walking Safari. We will drive to the famous falls for a guided walk. It’s an amazing experience to watch the 500,000,000 Litres of Water flowing – resulting in the world’s largest sheet of falling water! No wonder the local people call it the Smoke that Thunders! Optional activities include Cruise safari, rafting, bungee jumping, helicopter safari and others.
Day Ten: 29th December 2017 – Botswana Safari (Livingstone – Okavango Delta Safari – Kasane)
We will depart from Livingstone at 6:00 am for Botswana via the Kazungula ferry (Optional). This is a tranquil day and you can visit Zimbabwe instead of doing the Botswana Safari. Optional Botswana Two Day Adventure.
For Botswana overnight, we will cross the border and proceed for the Okavango Delta Safari. After a magnificent 3-hour game drive, we will head back to Kasane town for our Overnight Stay. This is also a good day for your Laundry.
Day Eleven: 30th December 2017 (Shopping at Kasane Town Botswana)
Drive back to Livingstone Town in Zambia. On arrival at Livingstone, this could also be a good Day to Swim or do other extra activities.
Day Twelve: 31st December 2017 (Livingstone – Lusaka (Zambia) – Shopping)
We start off at 8:00 am for our journey from Livingstone to Lusaka City. On arrival, we will visit Two Malls for Shopping matters. Dinner and overnight at the Lovely Eureka Campsite.
We will have a cultural night in Lusaka, Zambia. The best-dressed lady and a gentleman to get prizes.
Day Thirteen: 1st January 2018 (Lusaka Full Day City Tour)
This encompasses a visit to various points of interest around the city including the Lusaka museum, the local village market, drive through Cairo road, and other government building and national monument sites. Local crafts shop stops can be arranged should you want to take back a souvenir.
Moreover, we will visit other malls for shopping. Tree planting exercise at a local school. Dinner and overnight at the cool Eureka Campsite. New year party in Lusaka.
Day Fourteen: 2nd January 2018 (Lusaka – Mpika)
The drive from Lusaka to Mpika is one of the best as we get to appreciate the panoramic countryside with large forest cover. For those going to Capetown, they will take a comfy bus and proceed with one of our team leaders.
Day Fifteen: 3rd January 2018 (Mpika – Mbeya)
We will start off from Mpika at 6:00 am for Mbeya town. We will cross the Nakonde – Tunduma border and proceed with our cool safari. This is one of the busiest border crossing points in Africa: it’s always important to be vigilant at all border points. Arrival in Mbeya at 6:00 pm
Day Sixteen: 4th January 2018 (Mbeya – Dodoma)
Dodoma is the capital city of Tanzania and of the best places to visit and relax. Departure from Mbeya at 7:00 am. Arrival in Dodoma at 5:30 pm.
Day Seventeen: 5th January 2018 (Dodoma – Arusha)
Departure from Dodoma city at 7:00 am. Arrival in Arusha at 5:30 pm. In Arusha, we will have a “Nyama Choma Party” to appreciate the Victoria Falls Scenic Safari 2017.
Moreover, we will have Salsa dance and Zumba fitness for 1 hour: these are essential for our legs and body overall fitness. For the party lovers, you can experience Arusha City (safari capital) at night.
Day Eighteen: 6th January 2018 (Arusha – Nairobi)
7:30 am – 8:30 am: Visit the Snake Park and Museum.
8:30 am – 10:00 am: Yummy Breakfast and Lunch Combined (Brunch).
10:00 am: We will start off from our campsite and have a guided City Tour. This will also be a good time for shopping in Arusha for our loved ones.
Arrival in Nairobi at 8:00 pm. With a wonderful experience and golden memories to cherish for a lifetime, we will arrive in Nairobi at 8:00 pm.
